Hi, I’m Maria, a hairstylist specializing in precision cutting and modern styling. My passion for hair started long before I ever stepped into a salon. As a child, I was the go-to stylist for my cousins and friends, and one of my earliest memories is receiving a Bratz doll mannequin head. I remember confidently cutting its hair—giving it an accidental mullet—and feeling absolutely certain that creating shape, movement, and beauty through hair was what I was meant to do.

By 14, I was already working in a salon while attending a high school trade program. I spent every spare minute learning, practicing, and absorbing everything I could about the craft. After graduating high school and cosmetology school, I took my training even further by attending the renowned Vidal Sassoon Academy in London.

For those who don’t know, Vidal Sassoon is a true icon in the hair world—famous for his architectural approach to cutting and his revolutionary techniques. His work has always inspired me, and studying under some of the top educators in the industry was truly life-changing.

To me, cutting hair isn’t just a technical skill—it’s an art form. After completing my training at Sassoon, I continued working behind the chair for years, refining my technique and shaping my own style. Eventually, I began sharing tips and educational content online for people who might not have access to professional services. What started as a small passion project grew into something I never expected—today, I’m incredibly grateful to have a community of over 6 million followers across all platforms.

This journey has opened the door to working with some of the world’s most respected stylists, including Chris Appleton and Joseph Mane, and collaborating with leading brands such as Olaplex, Tresemmé, ColorWow, Drybar, Aussie, Verb, SexyHair, Joico, GHD, and many more.

Every step of my career has reinforced how lucky I am to do what I love—create, teach, and inspire—one cut at a time.
