Hi, I’m Maria, a hairstylist specializing in cutting and styling. My love for hairstyling started early, doing hair for my cousins and friends. One of my most vivid memories is receiving a Bratz doll mannequin head as a child. I remember confidently cutting its hair, convinced I was an artist. After giving the doll an unexpected mullet, I knew I had found my calling.

With over a decade of experience in the hair industry, my passion for hairstyling began when I was just a child. By the age of 14, I started working in a salon while attending high school, which offered a trade school program. I spent my days learning as much as possible, determined to grow in the craft I loved. After graduating high school and cosmetology school, I took my career to the next level by enrolling at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy in London. 

For those unfamiliar, Vidal Sassoon is a legend in the hair world, renowned for his innovative cutting techniques. His work has always been an inspiration to me, and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to study under some of the top professionals in the industry. 

To me, cutting hair is more than just a skill, it’s an art form. After completing my training at Sassoon, I worked in salons for several years, refining and perfecting my techniques. Eventually, I turned to social media to share my knowledge, offering tips and techniques for those who might not have access to professional salon services. What began as a small effort quickly grew, and today, I am incredibly grateful to have over 6 million followers across all platforms.

This incredible journey has led me to collaborate with some of the world’s top hairstylists, such as Chris Appleton and Joseph Mane, and partner with amazing brands like Olaplex, Tresemme, ColorWow, Drybar, Aussie, Verb, SexyHair, Joico, GHD, and more. I feel truly blessed to continue doing what I love and sharing my passion with the world.
